Dr. Samuel Adu-Poku:

THE IMPACT OF AN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION FACULTY AND STAFF LEARNING COMMUNITY

I, Dr. Samuel Adu-Poku, Assistant Professor of Art Education, together with:

  • Dr. Lauren Cummins, Assistant Professor, Early Childhood Education;
  • Kelly Bancroft, Coordinator of SMARTS;
  • Dr. Michael Theall, Director of CATALYST
have been instrumental in the establishment of an Early Childhood Education Faculty and Staff Learning Community (ECEF&SLC) at YSU. We recently presented the impact of our on-going research at the “Faculty Accomplishments Showcase” organized by the CATALYST on the April 21st.

The accompanying material is an overview of the activities of the learning community which I and my team have put together for professional presentation and publication.
